Cobra is focused on developing the capabilities of its employees and processes that represent the core of its business. Cobra has a modern machine shop that specializes in turning operations. In this shop, Cobra machines any kind of material, such as steel, aluminum, brass, titanium and high-alloys, and can hold very tight tolerances to suit all precision needs. The company also does secondary operations and assembly work. Each of its facilities have the ability to receive more than 40,000 pounds of material a day with a turn-a-round time of less than 30 minutes per shipment for raw material acceptance. Autoliv, a global leader in air-bag and seat belt technology, recognized Cobra as the Supplier of the Year in 2002.
