Welcome to the City of Covington Kentucky Fire Department. From fire suppression and emergency medical services, to our emphasis on fire prevention and safety education, the department has always worked diligently to meet the changing needs of our community. This website is another channel through which we can deliver important information, services and firefighter news in order to further relate with the public. Articles are submitted by the fire administration quarterly, other areas of the site will be updated more frequently. In the future we hope to further enhance the site with fire safety and education resources available. Mission Statement of the Covington Fire Department The mission of the Covington Fire Department is to minimize the loss of life and property resulting from fire, medical emergencies and other disasters. We will accomplish our mission through fire suppression, emergency medical services, hazard mitigation, fire prevention, life safety education and other emergency and non-emergency activities. The Covington Fire Department is accountable to our community for the highest quality safety services, including emergency response, emergency prevention and community education.
