Operational since 1986, Christ Church is an independent, nonprofit, nondenominational Christian congregation with more than 5,000 members from over 40 nationalities. The church offers worship services and conducts classes and group activities that include Bible-based instruction. It has a staff of nearly 50 individuals that provides community development, media production, counseling and pastoral care services. Christ Church administers various ministries to enhance the social, emotional and spiritual development of men, women, youths and children. It also operates a network of legal professionals that provides advocacy services in the areas of family, immigration and real estate laws. In addition, the church organizes workshops and seminars for single parents, divorcees and engaged couples. Christ Church offers support services for individuals recovering from alcohol and chemical abuse. Its affiliates include the Trinity Academy and Five Sectors Alliance.
