The Choong Sil Kwan Do Association (CSKDA) Headquartered in Modesto, Ca., has been training high quality martial artists for years. We offer students and instructors, access to the highest quality martial arts training available.
(Traditional) TAE KWON DO (Ages 6 & UP) Tae Kwon Do is one of the most popular styles of Martial Arts, where the student learns to defend themselves using a series of blocking, striking and kicking techniques taught primarily through the use and practicing of patterns. The Choong Sil Kwan Do Association (CSKDA) practices the Chang Hon Tae Kwon Do pattern system as well as four additional Tae Kwon Do Self-Improvement patterns developed by Grandmaster Hardin of the (CTF) to complement our teaching progression. These four additional Tae Kwon Do patterns are integrated with the philosophy that stresses goal setting, inspiration, the development of a strong work ethic and, ultimately, the achievement of one’s goals.
MUSHIN BUJUTSU (Ages 14 and UP) Mushin Bujutsu is a street defense that uses a combination of the best techniques from many of the individual Martial Art styles. The combination of the many different Martial Art styles help make it more useful and more effective than any of the individual Martial Art specialties for actual street situations. It is a defense you can learn and remember. This system is designed to teach an individual with hands on defensive training. The classes focus on awareness, boundary setting and physical defense.
Special Needs (Ages 7 and up) Special Needs is a Fun and Exciting Tae Kwon Do class, structured to meet the needs of each individual. We focus on the improvement of each individual’s attention span, confidence, discipline, hand and eye coordination and their overall fitness. In addition to learning the fundamentals of Tae Kwon Do the student will learn to be more responsive and will learn to better interact with other students and society.
