Its programs focus on offering resources and supports for strengthening and stabilizing the family and meeting the needs of children. Children's Services of Roxbury was incorporated in 1990. It serves a diverse mix of families through partnerships with government entities, including the commonwealth of Massachusetts, the city of Boston, federal agencies and various Unites States foundations that are organized to improve the lives of children. Children's Services of Roxbury is a member of the Child Welfare League of America and the Black Administrators in Child Welfare. It is an affiliated agency of the United Way of Massachusetts Bay.
