Central Park Middle School has an annual enrollment of more than 650 students in grades six through eight. It is a division of the Schenectady City School District and is located in Schenectady, N.Y. The school has guidance counselors who work directly with the faculty, students and the parents to facilitate academic success and personal development of the students. It has a parent-teacher organization that promotes the welfare of children and youth in home, school and community. The school s facility includes more than 35 classrooms, computer labs, technology labs, a piano lab, an auditorium and two gymnasiums. It offers academic classes in career and technical education, family and consumer science, social studies, technology, fine arts and foreign language. Established in 1923, Central Park Middle School is recognized as a New York State Blue Ribbon School.
