Located in Seattle, Catholic Community Services of Western Washington is a faith-based, nonprofit organization providing a variety of social services. It is an outreach mission of the Catholic Church in Western Washington. It assists the disabled, families, elders, children and the homeless with counseling, shelter, adoption and pregnancy support. Through its agency Archdiocesan Housing Authority, it provides shelters and transitional programs for homeless and low-income persons that include housing units with baths, laundries andvarious amenities and services, such as medical attention job counseling, and alcohol and drug treatment. Catholic Community Services is approved by the Council on Accreditation of Services for Families and Children and is a member of Catholic Charities USA.
