General Info:

Registered Dietitian providing individual, group, and family nutrition counseling to achieve a healthy relationship with food. Specialties include eating disorders such as anorexia, bulimia, and binge eating. Other areas of practice are weight management, cardiovascular disease, GI issues/complications, obesity, pre diabetes counseling and general health and wellness. Counseling utilizes intuitive eating and a non-dieting approach to a healthy and balanced lifestyle. All sessions can be customized on an individual basis. Currently accepting new patients. Ms. Voorhies is a Texas Christian University graduate with a BS in Coordinated Dietetics. Her experience in various fields includes clinical, foodservice management, nutrition education,  long term care, diabetes, community, and private practice.  Casey chose the field of dietetics because she ultimately wanted to help people. Through private practice she has been able to fulfill this passion and help other improve their relationship with food and overall body image. Casey also enjoys traveling, cooking, reading, and yoga. Casey Voorhies began her passion for nutrition counseling while completing her didactic internship in a private practice setting.  She truly enjoys hearing each individuals story, forming a bond with that patient, and working with the patient in order to improve their overall health and wellness. Casey Voorhies began her career at a Rehabilitation hospital in an acute setting. She transitioned to Project Bliss, an eating disorder treatment center, teaching group nutrition therapy, meal support, and individual nutrition counseling. Casey also established her own private practice at this time and began seeing patients in the outpatient setting treating various issues, disease, and concerns.
