Ray Hohmann Jr has been in the guttering business since 1975. His father started the gutter business in 1949 and began Carolina Sheet Metal in 1979. He taught Ray Jr the trade using the apprentice method of teaching. Ray Jr. bought Carolina Sheet Metal from his father in 1993. He Specializes in copper work, chimney caps, metal roofing, K-style gutters, and half-round gutters. Carolina Sheet Metal is a family owned and operated business. Ray Jr. has taught the trade to his sons who make it a third generation company. Today they each run a crew of installers and have been working by their father since they were ten years old. The office work is done by Ray Jr.'s wife, and Ray Jr. himself follows up on all the calls that come in.
