Canterbury Court, located in Atlanta, is one of the city s first nonprofit continuing care retirement communities for the elderly. The facility has been providing retirement living in the area to seniors of age 62 or older. The community is situated on more than 10 acres and consists of three towers. The towers have a total capacity of more than 200 independent apartments, over 15 personal care apartments and a nearly 45-bed nursing facility. Personal Care residents receive daily nursing staff attention; assistance with medications, bathing, dressing and grooming; and weekly maid service. The apartments range from studio units to three-bedroom with den floor plans. There are more than 10 department directors and over 140 employees who provide services and amenities to the community of nearly 250 residents throughout the year.
