Overview The firm of Canon Engineering, LLC offers consulting engineering services to Architects, government agencies, and local businesses. The firm specializes in mechanical and electrical engineering including air conditioning, heating, ventilation, plumbing, fire protection, lighting, power distribution, communications, control systems, utilities and energy conservation of commercial, industrial, institutional and governmental facilities. Services rendered include consultation, life cycle cost analysis, design, preparations of drawings and specifications, field inspections, contract administration and energy analysis. Canon Engineering, LLC projects are administered by the project manager/engineers. They are the primary contact with the client and the project "team" managers. A project "team" with a project manager is put together based on their experience and skills applicable to the project. The same group of people work on the project from the beginning through the completion of the project. The staff of Canon Engineering, LLC consists of four mechanical engineers, three electrical engineers, a senior plumbing and electrical designer, two drafters, two construction administrators, and an office manager. Members of the Firm have completed a number of projects requiring special skills applicable to many different types of project. Mechanical and electrical systems have been analyzed and designed for new and existing facilities. The quality assurance and coordination of Canon Engineering, LLC projects are achieved by a constant effort to maintain clear communication between all members of the project team and clients. With over 30 years experience in coordination construction projects and a vast knowledge of the applicable codes & standards, senior members of the Firm can foresee potential problems and neutralize them before they create project delays or expense. Canon Engineering, LLC uses the latest software to achieve the most accurate system designs possible. This software is used for things such as: energy analysis, heat load calculating, lighting levels, lighting rendering, generator sizing, etc. We utilize the latest versions of AutoCAD software in our design work. With fifteen AutoCAD and three Revit stations we have full capability to take on any project. Canon Engineering, LLC has 3600 square feet of office space in Gulfport, Mississippi. We are close to major highways leading to all parts of the state. We are therefore readily accessible to the project sites.
