Camp Cromwell is owned and operated by The Boys Club of New York. The camp is located in Martinsville, N.J. Camp Cromwell s mission is to provide purposeful natural living in the outdoors as part of the summer and winter programs. Day camping as well as a resident school/camping experience is available in July and August. The variety of activities and facilities at Camp Cromwell includes swimming, archery, low and high ropes courses, indoor and outdoor basketball courts, athletic fields, beach volleyball court, Visual Performing Arts Center and a farm and nature center. Since 1985, BCNY's Department of Educational Services and Summer Programs has administered the residential summer school program at Camp Cromwell. This program provides sixth, seventh and eighth grade boys with the opportunity to increase their English, Math, Science, Social Studies, language and study skills. An emphasis is placed on enhancing study proficiencies and learning patterns through reading, writing, experimentation and oral expression.
