Founded in 1931, Camp Bauercrest is an overnight camp for Jewish boys in Amesbury, Mass. It is a nonprofit camp that offers educational, public and consulting services. The camp is accredited by the American Camp Association. Camp Bauercrest offers a range of facilities, such as a gymnasium, computer laboratory, health center, outdoor chapel, mess hall, weight and music rooms, more than five illuminated tennis courts, over three regulation-sized volleyball courts, and softball and soccer fields. The camp organizes trips to various beaches and amusement and water parks. It also provides several boating programs that include waterskiing , tubing, sailing, canoeing and kayaking. Camp Bauercrest has a staff that includes teachers, counselors and coaches. It maintains locations in Newton and Sudbury, Mass.
