Caldwell Housing Corporation was founded in April 1956. We are celebrating our 41st Anniversary this year. We have developed two major subdivisions in DeRidder ; Green Acres Subdivision and Caldwell Heights Subdivision along with numerous other homes throughout the area. We built the first apartment complex in the DeRidder and Leesville area ; along with the first condominiums. We currently offer homes for sale, property manage homes for rent, condominiums for sale or rent, apartments for rent, and commercial and residential lots for sale.I graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Zoology from Northwestern State University in 1971. I have built in Houston, Texas ; Shreveport, Louisiana ; and in DeRidder. I am President and Broker of Caldwell Housing Corporation. I received my Real Estate License in 1971. I currently hold a Louisiana Master Plumbers License ; a Louisiana Contractors License in Building Construction, Municipal and Public Works Construction, and Plumbing. I am a Certified Water and Wastewater Operator and an inventor holding 2 U.S. Patents ( #5, 505, 840 and #5, 624, 574 ) for Chlorinator-Filter System and Process for sewerage treatment plants.Caldwell Housing Corporation is the owner of Green Acres Water and Sewer District #1 ; which received "Outstanding Wastewater System of the Year - Basic Treatment 1994" and "Outstanding Water System of the Year 1995" ; which was presented by the Louisiana Rural Water Association. I have recently been recognized as a Honored Professional in the National Directory of "Who's Who" in Executives and Professional, 1998 - 1999 Edition.We are a hometown corporation.
