Vincent’s corner grocery first opened in the space known as Café du Pays in 1916 and the space kept the name “Vincent’s” through two world wars, the Great Depression, and numerous owners until some time in the 1970’s. Over more than a century, this space has been a grocery, a bodega, a breakfast spot, a music venue, at least two reputable restaurants, and a speakeasy…twice. While our corner bistro takes a rest, we’re bringing Vincent’s back so we can to keep your kitchens and pantry’s stocked with delicious food and beverage until we can have you back in to the restaurant to dine and drink with us again.
