Buford Goff & Associates, based in Columbia, S.C., was founded in 1969 as an engineering consulting firm. BGA has four interdependent engineering divisions that are mechanical, electrical, security and communications. The company employs a staff of more than 40 people, which includes registered engineers, designers and administrative personnel. The firm maintains professional registration in more than 30 states and is a member of the National Council of Engineering Examiners and the National Society of Professional Engineers. Additionally, these departments provide specialized services, such as analytical engineering, studies, utility masterplans and systems troubleshooting.
