Founded in 1886, Buckeye Partners is a publicly traded company that owns and operates one of the largest refined petroleum products pipeline systems in the United States. With approximately 5,400 miles of pipeline, the company owns more than 60 active refined petroleum product terminals. It also operates and maintains over 2,000 miles of pipeline under agreement with various oil and chemical companies. Buckeye Partners additionally operates a natural gas storage facility in Northern California and markets refined petroleum products in the geographic areas served by its pipeline and terminal operations. Its subsidiary, Farm & Home Oil Company, is one of the leading independent fuel distributors in the Mid-Atlantic region. In partnership with Kealine Partners, the company is involved in the construction and operation of pipelines and terminals that serve airports. Buckeye Partners is a subsidiary of Buckeye GP Holdings and is headquartered in Breinigsville, Pa.
