Buanno Transportation, founded in 1936, is one of the oldest trucking companies in New York State and was one of the first to haul twin trailers on the NYS thruway and Massachusetts turnpike. The goods handled by the company include silicones, latex paints, oil mats, juices, baby food, gum, candy, paper, plastics, machinery, leather, gloves, paint, tanning agents, citrus, beer, boat supplies, farm equipment, electronics and agricultural fertilizers. Buanno Warehousing is one of the oldest functioning warehouses in Fulton County, N.Y., offering both heated and non-heated facilities, four state-of-the-art loading docks, electric and manual dock plates and fork lift equipment. The company serves the New England and Mid-Atlantic states, and also hauls loads in Quebec and Ontario, Canada. It is headquartered in Fort Johnson, N.Y.
