My Name is Jeremy Fusco, owner & founder of Brothers Home Improvement, LLC. I opened BHI in 2009 due to the economy leaving me unemployed/laid-off from being a Sales & Project Manager of several hardwood flooring crews since 2001. I chose the name "Brothers Home Improvement & Flooring" for two reasons: 1.) Throughout my career, I have networked with several contractors in different areas of home improvement, and have formed solid alliances with some of the best the industry has to offer in state of CT. Where these other contractors have always turned to me for their flooring needs knowing that I would always work my absolute hardest to provide them the best quality product on a consistent basis; ultimately gaining their trust over time through my actions with integrity, reliability, and simply working hard to achieve my goals. In- turn I wanted to be able to provide more than just flooring as a service to my customers. As the years have progressed, I have found myself being asked by more and more clients to "just handle the whole project." with respect to projects requiring many other areas of carpentry than just the installation and finishing of a new hardwood floor.... That being said, "Brothers" refers to my "brothers" in the industry; fellow small business owners of various trade-work. On that note; I make it a point to give my business only to locally owned and operated CT business just like BHI. 2.) The reason for "& Flooring" is obvious as that's where I started and specialized. I grew-up in a construction family and have been getting paid to "swing a hammer" for as long as I can remember. Always having an appreciation for woodworking in all forms since I was a child. That, and being a former Math & Actuarial Science Major at UConn lead me to flooring & more specifically hardwood flooring. I had an appreciation for the complex math that's involved in flooring vs other trades and the natural beauty that hardwood floors can provide. In conclusion, I wanted my business name to represent what my company is selling.
