Blak Haus Furniture is a small custom design furniture company dedicated to producing beautiful modern heirloom furniture made from selected lumber or veneer with traditional joinery, and hand rubbed finishes. Blak Haus can work off of pre-determined designs and concepts or come up with custom solutions. Each step in the process is specific to each piece that leaves our shop. Whether its hand selecting each board or color matching specific request, the entire process is tailored to you. Founder, Ethan Hagenbuch started his journey to be a craftsman in art school where he took a class in furniture design and soon discovered his passion. In no time he was exploring and creating in his dad’s makeshift wood shop. After graduating from art school he went to study at the Center for Furniture Craftsmanship. It was there where he learned to meld both the design and craft worlds, which he later started incorporating in his own custom design furniture for Blak Haus Furniture.
