Bikram’s Beginning Yoga Series is a practice for all ages and levels of fitness – as a beginner, or to complement your existing yoga practice or workout. Bikram Yoga is a series of 26 hatha yoga postures, developed by Bikram Choudhury. Bikram’s Beginning Yoga Series is a 90 minute sequence of 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises taught by Bikram-certified instructors, and ideally practiced in a room heated to 105°F with 40% humidity. Bikram Yoga Ridgefield will be an environmentally and community conscious facility. Our vision is to deliver Bikram Yoga in its true form. Bikram Yoga Ridgefield will promote knowledge of the series to create awareness of the mind, body and community. Our teachers are all Bikram Yoga certified.   Bikram Yoga Ridgefield is designed and being built using principles of social and ecological sustainability. We are utilizing materials, systems and new technologies that will demonstrate our commitment to the environment and an awareness of our students.  I have taught and practiced at many amazing yoga studios. It is my vision and goal to bring you the very best in yoga instruction, education, studio design and community, based on my experience and your ongoing input and feedback. It is my hope to make you “smile a little…it is only yoga”.
