Over 35 years ago, Jerry Bendorf began a small garage door company specializing in Genie products. He worked long and hard to establish a clientele that appreciated honest work at fair prices. The company grew and prospered under his leadership. After a few years, Jerry changed the name of the company from Bendorf Enterprises to BIg Mountain Genie to reflect that the company installed Genie products and fixed garage doors. We recently changed the name one more time to BIg Mountain Garage Doors, Inc. Our purpose was to continue the Big Mountain reputation for great service and convey the fact that we work on all doors and door openers. We provide the highest quality service at the lowest prices. This generates loyal customers, many referrals and repeat business. We also stand behind our work and embrace the motto: "The customer is always right." True, we do specialize in Genie, the only garage door opener still made in America. We also repair and service all other brands but we do have a strong commitment to maintaining our American manufacturing base. Our new Genie 2024 is super quiet and smooth. The 1/2 horsepower motor coupled with a sturdy belt drive is a great opener that will give you many years of maintenance-free service...at a lower price than competitive brands.
