General Info:

Established in 1975, Bertschi School provides education to more than 200 students in grades kindergarten through five. The school s facility has an art room, a science room, a library and media center equipped with more than 150 computers and a fenced outdoor play area. Bertschi offers a variety of on-campus support services, including individual instruction, reading groups, specialized classes, accelerated programs and after school homework support. The learning services staff offers specialized one-to-one instruction in early reading skills, reading fluency, comprehension, writing, math facts and concepts and homework organization and study strategies. Bertschi School is an accredited member of the Pacific Northwest Association of Independent Schools and the National Association of Independent Schools. It is also a member of the Northwest Association of Schools and Colleges and a Washington State approved independent primary and elementary school. The school also offers an extended day program, summer exploration camps and extracurricular activities, including choir, knitting, sewing, science, adventure programs and cartooning and illustration.
