What began 28 years ago as a part-time business has evolved into a growing enterprise servicing the New England firefighting industry and beyond. Don & Kathy Bergeron's vision of offering quick delivery of bunker coats & pants purchased from Globe's overstock took hold in the 80's and the rest is history. From there they began offering turnout gear alterations and repair and became frequent evening visitors at volunteer Fire Departments throughout the beautiful state of New Hampshire. Over the years, the business has expanded their product line and ventured beyond state borders while maintaining a laser-like focus on "Protective Clothing for Firefighters and EMS Personnel" and an "Extraordinarily High Quality of Service". Today, Bergeron Protective Clothing operates out of 6000 square feet in Epsom, New Hampshire, just a few miles south of the world headquarters and primary manufacturing facilities for Globe Manufacturing Co. With 11 employees, BPC operates 5 service vans and covers New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont, and Massachusetts. Our vans are continually restocked with a broad selection of leather & rubber boots, turnout gear specials, firefighter helmets, gloves, hoods, and other firefighter clothing and equipment. If the firefighter wears it, we stock it. If we don't have it, we can get it. In summary, at most firefighting municipalities in the New England area, Bergeron Protective Clothing has become the household name synonymous with "Quality of Service" and the absolute best firefighter's turnout gear and equipment available. We are known throughout our territory for our ability to quickly "size" firefighters with actual turnout gear minimizing the errors associated to guessing or using a tape measure. Our sales representatives spend most of their time combing their territories working directly with the chiefs & firefighters themselves and understand their needs, likes, and dislikes. We have the ability to provide different length jackets, different styles of pants, and women's gear when needed.
