Belt Collins is an international design firm providing planning, civil engineering, landscape architecture, and environmental consulting services. The firm has completed more than 12,000 projects in 70 countries throughout the world. It provides services for commercial and retail facilities, hotels and resorts, residential, recreational, institutional and urban design projects. Belt Collins has received numerous industry awards, including a 2004 ULI Award for Excellence for its work on the Fullerton Hotel in Singapore. The firm developed a landscape plan that took advantage of many of the old building s best features. A central atrium was turned into a courtyard featuring bamboo in planters, to carry out the hotel s New Asia theme. A swimming pool was designed atop an adjacent annex building, to complete the hotel s amenities. Belt Collins was founded in 1953 and maintains headquarters in Honolulu. It operates additional offices in Seattle, Hong Kong, Singapore, Bangkok, Guam and the Phillipines.
