Beaumont Foundation of America, established in 2001, supports the use of technology to enhance and advance the lives of underprivileged individuals. Alliances with the Boys and Girls Club of America and the Salvation Army augment the impact of its philanthropy and build community. Since 2002 the foundation has instituted pilot programs in seven states with equipment valued at $6 million and have awarded $27 million worth of equipment in 2003 to more than 150 schools and over 620 community organizations. BFA has amended its articles of incorporation and changed its operations to fully provide assistance to and for the benefit of the poo and underprivileged. Many BFA programs now exist and continue to contribute into the future. BFA aims to launch new programs which build on past successes and expand to address broader issues. Beaumont Foundation of America is located in Beaumont, Texas.
