It is the mission of Beats & Tunes School of Music to provide quality education in music to children and adults of Central Florida, in an environment that promotes achievement and creativity offering to all who attend, regardless of artistic ability, the opportunity to carry out their own personal evolution and dreams, enriching the quality of their lives. Under the direction of Dr. Maria F. Farinha, Beats & Tunes provides opportunities for kids and adults to learn any kind of music style: Classical, Rock, Jazz, Country, Vocal, Musical Theater, and Brazilian Bossa Nova, but also provides the students with fantastic lessons in problem solving, team building, and the rewards of hard work while building their self esteem and confidence. It is proved that access and exposure to the arts is an integral part of a thriving cultural community and a well-rounded education. Therefore, we prepare the music student for the world because we offer an environment that constantly challenges their creative abilities. Beats & Tunes understands that you want your kid to be passionate about something, and we can help you with that. Here your child will discover a talent you didn’t know he/she had. Throughout our teaching methods the students develop both their confidence and musicianship not just taking lessons to learn notes, chords, technique and music theory, but learning songs, instrumental pieces, playing with other musicians in ensembles and Bands, and getting out to perform on stages. Our Band program gives students of all ages and levels the opportunity to interact with each other, give public performances, and advance music learning school-wide. They will love to be enrolled in this “enrichment activity.” Beats and Tunes is dedicated to providing comprehensive instruction, facilities and other resources to support and inspire artistic accomplishment. Instruction here is delivered by!highly qualified and experienced teachers in piano, voice, guitar (acoustic and electric), bass, drums, violin, saxophone, and flute.
