Beacon Christian Academy was founded in 1982 with the support of the congregation of the First Assembly of God church. Located in Bayonne, N.J., the school comprises of Little Lamb Preschool and offers educational and extracurricular programs from grades prekindergarten through eight. It uses the A Beka curriculum from Pensacola, Fla., and the Bible curriculum from Gospel Publishing House for grades kindergarten through four. The grades five through eight Bible curriculum is from Lifeway Christian Resources. Beacon Christian Academy s extracurricular activities include youth camps, church organized retreats, Knowledge Bowl, junior-senior banquet, senior trips, state fine arts and academic competitions, band and choir concerts and National Honor Society. The school has fully equipped computer education laboratory and library.
