Baskets Instead is a small gourmet food and gift basket shop located in Lakeland, Fl., started in 1987.  We create custom gift baskets from our extensive inventory of specialty chocolates, candies, cakes, savory snacks, hors doeuvres, Italian goodies, olive oils and vinegars, soups, preserves, teas, coffees, baby items for infants, toiletries from Crabtree & Evelyn, Camille Beckman, European Soaps, Seda Candles.  We are constantly adding new items that we think our customers will like.  Customers are welcome to visit our store as all items are for sale individually and treating yourself is very important!  We also sample our specialty foods on a daily basis as we believe you should be able to "try before you buy." Our baskets can be delivered locally and we ship by UPS anywhere they go.  Our goal is to "turn your good wishes into long remembered gifts!"
