Bank and Office Interiors provides office chairs, workstations, desks, storage and interior architecture products. It also provides facility services, such as furniture moving, installing, reconfiguring and repair. Founded in 1934, the company has grown to be the one of the largest, full-service, office furnishings dealerships in the Northwest. BKM Enterprises purchased B&OI in 1986. BKM is a national organization with several locations throughout the United States. It is part of the Steelcase network, a group of 450 national dealers authorized by Steelcase to provide a broad range of services to national accounts. In February 2000, B&OI was purchased from BKM by the local owner-operator team upon establishing Workspace Development LLC. B&OI works in partnership with its BKM-affiliated dealers in support of national customers requiring multistate facility and furniture service. Together, the companies offer an integrated approach with a single point of contact for products and services. Steelcase has recognized B&OI with its exemplary performance award.
