The Autohaus Bayern was conceived to provide German car owners in the Portland area with dealership-level technical service capabilities at far lower prices than dealers charge, and to share our love of German driving machines. We take pride in our: Friendly, knowledgeable and professional staff with dealership experience and ASE certifications, We never lose sight of the fact that automotive repair is a service business, and the most successful service businesses are built on consistently high customer satisfaction. The Autohaus team consistently delivers excellent results: repairs done correctly and precisely, executed on time and charged as quoted. The first tenant of our business philosophy is to deliver more than clients expect. This includes the extra touches that we provide free of charge. We believe that what goes around comes around, and that these little extras will be rewarded by our clients loyalty. The second pillar of our philosophy is transparency. We understand how important it is to put the often complex mechanical explanations of auto repair into laymans terms, using manufacturers diagrams and digital pictures of the clients car. Most importantly, our clients always get an opportunity to speak to qualified service personnel that can clearly and completely explain the work that was done on their car. We believe strongly that this level of transparency is critical, and one that you will be hard-pressed to find elsewhere. The Autohaus Bayern was conceived and built by hard-core German car enthusiasts. We love the history of the German marquees and their unsurpassed racing heritage. We are in the car business because we truly love these machines. You will often find us either out at the track or working on our own cars on the weekends. Whether you are a fellow gear head, or simply for a quality oil change and an honest shop, we think that it makes a huge difference that the people working on your car love their craft. Bayern We took our name from the German state of Bayern, a region in southern Germany that we Americans usually call Bavaria. Although we love the beauty of the Southern Alps, the state's rich hops, as well as the region's annual October fest, it is our admiration for the region's engineering accomplishments that led us to take the state's name for our own. In addition to being the home of both BMW and Audi, the area boasts quite a number of excellent smaller manufacturers as well. For example, our favorite superchargers are made by a small operation just West of Regensburg. While the neighboring state of Baden-Wrttemberg to the west boasts two excellent car makers in its own right, Bayern will always be our favorite. And thus, it is the blue and white check that adorns our logo and hangs in our shop.
