General Info:

The Austin House was established in 1959 and within the walls came our bar which was built in 1864 in Chicago and brought out to Oregon new, it came around the horn and traveled by train and wagon to Eastern Oregon where many people have enjoyed it’s beauty. We have a quaint cafe with a country store, gas and a full service bar. We are a great stop for many such as, motorcycles, bicyclists, hikers, travelers and hunters along with the surrounding counties who enjoy our place. Oh and we have hard ice cream and a pastry case with yummy treats! We are lucky enough to have the Bates state park just around the corner from us. See ya soon!
