AGNE also provides retail supports such as advertising, marketing, merchandising, accounting and retail systems to more than 400 customers in the six-state New England region and eastern New York. Associated Grocers of New England was organized in February 1946 by a group of independent retailers whose goal was to form a company with greater purchasing power than each could realize individually.
