Starting and ending at DC's Pentagon building, the Army Ten-Miler is a marathon that tests the might of its runners. Rain or shine, athletes take to the street to set their own pace. Viewers and well-wishers come out in droves, to cheer runners on, and to enjoy the Army bands stretched along the route, playing brass tunes that keep adrenaline high. After the run, participants are invited to join in on a pasta dinner, with enough carbs to recover their "Army Strong" after a long day of beating the city pavement.
