Anchors Kennel is a full service boarding and grooming facility serving MD., VA., and Washington, D.C. area. Located on 22 rolling acres in Accokeek, MD., gives the kennel its beautiful country atmosphere. Being only 15 minutes from the Woodrow Wilson Bridge and 12 miles south of 495 the Capital Beltway, 95 and 295 enables easy access from the tri-state area. Owned and operated by the Randall Family since 1987 Anchors mission is to provide your pet a safe, clean, healthy and happy environment during their vacation with us. Our Staff of attentive professionals assures that your pet will receive the quality care that you would expect on your vacation. As active members The American Boarding Kennels Association (ABKA), Anchors abides by all standards set forth for the ABKA Bill Of Rights For Boarded Pets and the ABKA Code Of Ethical Conduct. This strict adhesion to these rules and regulations by Our Staff, and the cleanliness of our kennel, has earned us a rating in the Winter/Spring 2001 issue of Washington Consumers' Checkbook as one of the Top 3 Boarding Facilities for Quality and for Price, and in the December 2000 issue of Washingtonian Magazine as one of the Top 8 Boarding Facilities for quality of the 100 kennels rated in Maryland, Virginia, and D.C. area. Anchors has an open door policy for inspection of our facility anytime we are open. No appointment is necessary. We are open from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday thru Saturday.
