We have extensive experience with power distribution, motor control, automation, machine control and motor control through inverters, vector drives and VFDs. We also specialize in cost-effective programming of PLC and HMI equipment. We are an authorized distributor for many automation and control product lines. Our customers are usually ( but not always ) OEMs and they save money by buying complete control systems from us because we are the distributor, system integrator and panel shop. AMPS Industrial Controls is almost twenty years old so we have the experience necessary to design and built the best control systems. AMPS Industrial Control Corporation was started by Harold French in 1992 to be a distributor for heavily industrial automation components and we continue to be family owned and operated. Harold made the decision to hang out his shingle despite having little seed money and a family of three boys for whom to provide. He relied on his Christian faith, paired with 20 years experience in the industry to realize his dream. That dream was, and continues to be, running a company that provides innovative solutions using high quality products with exceptional customer service. We're not the same company we were in 1992, though. Since then we have grown into a highly respected distributor and systems integrator serving many different industries. We no longer market ourselves only to industrial customers. Our experiences have broadened and our customer base has expanded. AMPS is now found in all sorts of non-industrial places. We work well with anyone who needs help automating their equipment.
