Hi I'm Lee Wellard the owner and founder of American Herb Shoppe. We are a family owned business serving the local community that specializes in offering the widest variety and best quality organic herbal products in the industry. Our journey into herbs begun with our own family's health challenges with my wife suffering from a severe case of insomnia for nearly 6 years. After seeing the results of using herbs in our own personal experience it took me on a journey to learn more of their benefits. I have a passion for sharing herbs and after several years of teaching herbal medicine across America we decided to have are own store that we could be a blessing to our local community. My background is an applied physiology and nutrition teacher (College level), and am certified as a Master Herbalist, Holistic Health Practitioner and and am currently finishing a PhD in Naturopathy. I have over 20 years experience in the health field and take a science based approach with herbal remedies.
