Founded in 1979, Alexandria Floors remains a family run and operated business to this day. Since the early 1980â??s, the company has been exporting carpet to five of the worldâ??s seven continents, becoming North Americaâ??s largest exporter of broadloom carpet in the 1990â??s. The company continued to grow and diversify by selling other products in both the soft and hard surface categories. The ownerÊ¼s oldest son saw the industry-changing and decided to take a proactive approach and travel overseas to study the hardwood industry. After carefully vetting the industry's leading manufactures, Alexandria Floors entered the hardwood business in 2012. The company has since invested money into the factories they represent in North America.
