Medical Assistant with Phlebotomy, EKG and Patient Care Technician While Life expectancy in the United States, as a whole, continues to increase, the need for qualified healthcare professionals is growing. As an Advantage Career Institute Clinical Medical Assistant graduate, you would be working in a Medical office, hospital, clinic or immediate care setting. In this comprehensive program, students will attain knowledge in Medical Terminology, Anatomy and Physiology, Medical Law and Ethics including HIPPA. Hands on clinical skills in phlebotomy, injections, EKG’s, vital signs, as well as tasks of daily living and mobility assisting skills will be mastered in an on-site laboratory furnished with state-of-the-art medical equipment. Navigation and utilization of Electronic Health Records as well as an overview of front office skills are included. Phlebotomy & EKG Technician Students in this program will learn the required skills to become a Phlebotomy & EKG Technician.
