It DOES matter where you learn to drive!!    Offering a quality assurance the "other" guys can't!  Brand new to the scene in South Jersey, we do not lack experience and knowledge. Owner/Instructor Jim Hallinan has been teaching Driver Education at Washington Township High School for nearly 10 years and has worked with the community as a teacher, instructor, coach, and youth mentor during that time. With a great deal of intuition and patience, we prepare our student drivers for the Road Test and beyond. We firmly believe that when a student is nervous or tense, it is more difficult to learn - in and out of the classroom. We know that when a student is relaxed, they are more able to be receptive and learn. When you know your instructor, you will be instantly more at ease. Academy School of Driving prides itself in creating a rapport with the student as well as a relaxed, safe, and professional environment. Feel free to ask others about their experiences driving with our instructors. Our extensive training programs familiarize first-time drivers with typical road traffic situations, and provide them with rigorous safety instructions to prepare them for a possible emergency. And because safety comes first, we always take advantage of poor weather conditions to teach students how to handle themselves properly, unless we deem those conditions too severe to drive safely.
