Colony High School serves more than 1,000 students in grades 9 through 12 in Palmer and Wasilla in Alaska. The school provides opportunities to participate in several athletic activities, such as football, cross-country and cheerleading. Its academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as accounting, chemistry, calculus, logistics and business law. Colony High School also operates key, drama and chess clubs. The school has a library media center that maintains a collection of over 17,000 volumes and nearly 50 computers. In addition, it offers guidance counseling services. The school publishes a monthly newspaper, The Knightly News. It additionally provides choir, band and orchestra classes. The school offers advanced placement and International Baccalaureate diploma programs. Colony High School is governed by the Mat-Su Borough School District.
