The Carlson Center is one of the leading entertainment, sports and meeting facilities in northern Alaska. It provides its facility for hockey games, concerts, trade shows, circuses, conventions and basketball camps. The center has a seating capacity of up to 6,000 people. It offers a wide range of staging, show power, house lighting and sound equipment, including crowd barriers, mixing platforms, spotlights, metal halide and quartz lighting, a 5,000-watt speaker and public address system.
